HURRICANE MICHAEL DOCUMENTARY "THE FORGOTTEN CATEGORY 5" IN OCTOBER 2018

(Click HERE If No Video Displayed Above)

This is a link to an impressive video documentary that was produced by Doug Kiesling, with my help, on the devastating effects of Hurricane Michael in the NW Florida Panhandle around October 10, 2018. This was a category 5 hurricane with sustained winds of 160 MPH at landfall. The well-defined eye came ashore at around noon between Mexico Beach and Tyndall Air Force Base with a central pressure of 919 millibars. The storm eyewall caused catastrophic wind damage (even well-inland), flooding rains, and a massive storm surge obliterated anything near the coast. This video is over two hours and 15 minutes long, and shows the entire aspects of this storm, shot from numerous storm chasers, including Doug Kiesling and myself, who documented this hurricane.
