This is a short video clip from a hurricane Katrina high altitude reconnaisance mission while I was a VIP aboard NOAA's Gulfstream IV research jet (N49RF) "Gonzo" accompanying Jim Edds (KG4TBE) for CBS Miami. This important mission studies the environment above and around a hurricane to help determine its future track and intensity. This video is from August 26, 2005 as hurricane Katrina was in the SE Gulf of Mexico. The video format is 240 by 180, is just over 9 minutes long, and is about 5.5 MB in size in Realplayer format.
