HURRICANE IDA IN LOUISIANA IN AUGUST 2021

Video of the effects of major category 4 hurricane Ida in southeastern Louisiana on August 29, 2021 - Exactly 16 years after hurricane Katrina struck Louisiana and Mississippi in 2005. Most observations were done in the Terrebonne parish (county) in Houma, Louisiana at a hardened parking structure. The video shows the inner eyewall effects of the hurricane, with violent winds, as the storm center and eye clipped Houma during the late afternoon and early evening.
