Two pictures put together of myself chasing a hurricane standing in hurricane-forced winds (Over 74 MPH). The picture on the left was taken during the chase of hurricane Floyd in mid October 1987 in the upper Florida Keys near Key Largo. About 12 years later, the very same person, myself, stands in hurricane-forced winds during the chase of hurricane Irene in mid October 1999 also in the Florida Keys near Marathon. The unique thing is that these two pictures depict a similar hurricane in a similar place at the same time of the year. The picture is titled "Same person - Same storm chaser" to show two pictures taken over a decade apart of the same person doing what he does best! Don't forget to check out the storm chasing section of this web site for many storm chasing details and pictures!

A computer drawing showing the cross section of an extratropical storm through the cold front, warm sector, and warm front. The cold front occludes with the warm front in the picture center. Note the occlusion behind the front apex and how one air mass "rides" over the other. This graphic was done on an Amiga 500 computer using Deluxe Paint III for a meteorological demonstration.
A raytrace using Winfract and Corel Dream 3D. The sphere has a light source and fractal mandelbrot image texture mapped to its surface.
A drawing using Deluxe Paint III on an Amiga 500 computer showing an audio cassette entitled "How To Live With Your Impossible Spouse". This is poking fun at a mail order of a similar content for a get rich quick scam. All names are fictuous in this drawing.
A raytrace using Corel Dream 3D. I took a vector object of a Kawasaki Jet Ski and texture mapped various patterns such as wood and marble on the object surfaces. I then used Corel Photo Paint to paste the jet ski image a top a fractal image of a water surface.
A raytrace using Corel Dream 3D. The sphere has a light source and texture map of a cloud pattern digitized from a video of one of my thunderstorm chases. The nebulous background was an image taken from the movie Star Trek Undiscovered Country. When you combine the two images you get the stormy planet Mongo.
